About Abby Taylor
Abby earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. She has extensive courtroom experience, having conducted numerous jury trials and appeared before both the California Court of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. Abby has litigated several high-profile matters, including a case that attracted international media attention.
In addition to her litigation work, Abby played a key role in developing the practical implementation of newly enacted legislation aimed at addressing racial disparities within the Orange County court system, contributing to how the law continues to evolve across California. She served as a senior litigator with the Orange County Public Defender’s Office before entering private practice.
Abby is a California-admitted attorney and a qualified solicitor of England and Wales, and a dual UK/US citizen — a background well suited to internationally mobile and US/UK cross-border clients navigating wills, trusts, and estate matters. She is an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), where she is pursuing the STEP Diploma, is beginning the process of becoming a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) in October 2026, and is a member of American Women Lawyers in London (AWLL) and the Association of Women Solicitors, London (AWS).
